Our History

Established in September 2015, following the devastation caused by Hurricane Erika in Dominica, by a team of dedicated individuals, our mission revolves around bolstering the local promotion of Dominica. Through fundraising efforts, DOM continues to support the daily necessities of the island, offering financial aid where possible. Contributions from our fundraising initiatives have benefitted various causes, including assistance to the Dominica Infirmary, organizing Christmas giveaways for local residents, and providing essential school supplies to educational institutions across Dominica.

Our Purpose:

The Dominica Orlando Movement (DOM) is a non-profit organization committed to enhancing the well-being of individuals and communities in the United States, Dominica, and surrounding Islands. Our focus on education and service is aimed at empowering these communities to realize their fullest potential and forge stronger connections amongst themselves. 

Our Mission:

At the core of our objectives lies the promotion of growth and community advancement, tackling the social and economic hurdles we face. Through collaboration, we strive to pave the way for a brighter future not only for Dominica but also for the wider Caribbean region.
